Ecco: The Shattered Ring

This game was made by Gustaff XIII, but unfortunately it has never come very far. It's made with RPG Maker, and also uses RPG elements at many points in the game. Even though it's pretty old now, it should still work on most Windows systems. The game is nice as it is right now, even contains pretty good hand drawn backgrounds. Worth to give it a try in any case!

Vortex Assault

Okura created this little space shooter with a tool named "Game Maker". If you need a good waste of time, try this one. This is a typical vertical shooter where Ecco has to eliminate Vortex creaters by shooting sonar waves at them. There are different kinds of Vortex, some will shoot at you. By collecting Glyphs you can upgrade your sonar. The game gets tougher on your way and you will also see bosses!
